We value input from the Nagios community when it comes to making decisions that directly affect the community and future of the Nagios project, so we've chosen to involve some of the best and brightest Nagios minds out there.
- Alex Burger
Alex Burger lives in Toronto, Canada and currently works for a large international company as a network engineer and has worked with Nagios since 2002. Alex is the author of SNMPTT and is also a developer for Net-SNMP, primarily working on the Windows port. Most of his spare time is spent mountain biking, snowboarding or working on open source software.
- Andreas Ericsson
Andreas lives in Gothenburg, Sweden, where he works as a software engineer building network monitoring solutions centered around Nagios. Favorite pastimes include almost everything going really fast. His favorite color is green, to the dismay of his girlfriend, who's really much too good for him.
- Thomas Guyot-Sionnest
Thomas Guyot-Sionnest lives in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and is a young Systems Administrator currently working for an advertising company. He works with Nagios since 2005 and has experience with various monitoring and graphing methods for both Linux and Windows servers. He took the opportunity to join the Nagios-plugins development team in 2006 as he always liked to help OSS projects and wanted to improve his basic C skills. Outside computers he loves spending time with his two kids and riding his 70's race bicycle regardless of the weather.
- Marc Powell
Marc Powell lives in Nashville, Tennessee, United States and currently works for a company providing Internet access and other services to over 4,000 schools in several US States. He's been using Nagios as a core part of the monitoring and reporting infrastructure there since 2001 (when it was still Netsaint) and monitors over 8500 services on the network. His hobbies include landscaping, home remodeling, dog obedience training and riding his motorcycles. He's really looking forward to the year when the home remodeling hobby ends.
- Ton Voon
Ton resides in Derbyshire, UK and works for a company providing products around Nagios. Ton started playing with Nagios 6 years ago and fell into the Nagios Plugin team, which he now leads. Devoted to his family, he's given up hopes of playing in the English Premier League, being an extra on TV shows, or writing competition-winning movie reviews. But he still likes to cook for friends.
